CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL-FORTUNATE SONG
Happy Fourth Of July! this is a good song for today. My dad would play loads of CCR at every fourth of July celebration growing up,and still to the day. This is a great/controversial video for it’s time, and perfect for the song.
Bjork - Hyperballad (Live at Tibetan Freedom concert 97)
While I love the album version of this song, I’ve always felt that this live version really encompasses what the song SHOULD make you feel. The raw energy, spectacle, and the overall message of the Tibetan Freedom Festival make this one of my favorite live songs of all time.

Covenant - Still Life
While I’m not really into the Industrial music-scene, I do have quite a collection of albums. Covenant isn’t one of my favorite, by any means, but their album United States of Mind would be one of my favorite albums within the genre (though the track itself is nothing I would call “Industrial”). United States of Mind is loosely themed around a dystopian Philip Dick Blade Runneresque world, and even has callbacks to some of his work. With Blade Runner being my favorite film of all time, Philip K Dick being my favorite author, and the Vangelis soundtrack perhaps being my favorite film score, I can’t help but LOVE this album. It’s clear that they definitely must have sampled Vangelis’ warm synth from Blade Runner Blues for this very song. By the end of “Still Life”, you can’t help but feel slightly empty and drained somehow. There’s something deeply poetic about this track that has kept me revisiting it for 10 years now.
(Side note: the artist page for Covenant ranks this track as their 42nd most popular track. Such a shame.)

Radiohead - Kid A/Amnesiac (Live in Paris 2001 - Full Show)
A great live concert from MTV 2 showcasing some of their best work from two of my favorite albums of all time, Kid A and Amnesiac.
